FY08 Collection Retention Survey Feedback and Subscription Cancellation Information
Thank you for your input, constructive feedback and support from our survey. While the Technical Library does not yet have a firm budget number for the next year, we have made preliminary cancellation decisions for full-text databases, abstracts and indexes, and standards, as the contracting process for those renewals began on August 1. The cancellation decision is a combination of analysis, availability of the content from other sources the Library manages, feedback from customers, and a conservative budget forecast. Unfortunately, the Library budget cannot sustain the provision of content for small segments of the population.

A current list of cancelled titles with effective cancellation dates is available. Online journal cancellations will be communicated in the near future. The Technical Library currently manages access to some content and its contract, and would be happy to continue that if customer-provided FY08 funding could be made available.
